Tim Curry is a British actor, voice actor, and singer. He was the original actor cast as the Joker in Batman: The Animated Series.
After being hired to voice Joker in the show and recorded at least four episodes. Curry claims he had to step down from the role due to developing bronchitis, but producers say they simply didn't like his take. The versions of the episodes with him remain unreleased.
Curry ended up only appearing as a henchman in Fear of Victory and the Robot Clown in Be a Clown.
