This is background information and production notes of the episode I've Got Batman in My Basement, from season one of Batman: The Animated Series.
Production Notes[]
- Producer Bruce Timm has commented that the script and story of the episode are "terrible".
- This episode marks the first appearance of the Penguin, who was deliberately modelled after the appearance of the character in the film Batman Returns, released in the same year as the series premiered. The design consisted of long hair and webbed fingers. The character's appearance for The New Batman Adventures was revamped to look on the original design the producers have planned for the character.
