When mysterious thieves robbed the rich and famous of Gotham City, police turned their investigation to the man who managed the investment portfolios of the city's wealthiest citizens: Hayden Sloan. Investigators discovered that a large sum of money was missing from clients accounts. As such, he was arrested on charges of embezzlement, but after the real thief was caught, Sloan was released from prison.
