Cindy was a student and friend of Dick Grayson at Gotham University.

Dick Grayson invited Cindy over to study for their finals. Both Cindy and Dick had other plans, though, but they had to be shelved when Batman called. Offended, Cindy walked out.
Shortly after, Dick was attacked by a plant creature. A heavily shaking Cindy had to be comforted by Commissioner Gordon and Renée Montoya.
