Love that Baby was a popular television series that was the start Mary Dahl's career, and also its demise.
The show centered on the mischievous Baby-Doll, who stole the hearts of audiences everywhere. She started out when she was 10, and due to her hypoplasia, she looked the same 10 years later.
Other cast members included Tod Baker as Dad, June Winthrop as Mom, Tammy Vance as Suzy, and Brian Daly as Tibby. They did not like Mary, who often threw tantrums on the set, and thought herself better than the rest.
In the final season, 10 years later, the ratings began to drop, and the studio added Cousin Spunky. Spunky upstaged Mary on her birthday episode, which made her even more angry at everyone. She walked off the show, and tried to pursue a dramatic career. Without its star, the show was canceled.
After Dahl's stint on the stage flopped, she tried to restart the old sitcom, but no network wanted to pick it up. Another ten years later, she abducted her co-stars and held them prisoner so she could live out her dream, living with her "family" forever. All her family, except Cousin Spunky. She recreated her birthday episode with an explosive twist. After the Spunky whom she captured turned out to be Robin, Batman entered to take care of Dahl. The cast members were brought to safety by Robin.
